Avery Dennison already commercialises “Macglide”, a self-adhesive product helping fouling release. In the AIRCOAT project, we are aiming to develop new product concept using our self adhesive technologies.

R&D engineer during 25 years, in charge of the development of adhesives for the pressure-sensitive products. Since 2012, in charge of the R&D group dedicated to the development of components for the graphics products (adhesives, silicones, liners, top coats…)

Hélène studied chemistry at the ICPI (Institut de Physique – Chimie Industrielles) in Lyon. She got her Master degree in Analytical chemistry & chemical Engineering in 1996 and then moved to Belgium to start her career as a Research associate within Shell Chemicals. Since 2007, she has worked as Product Manager in self-adhesives, mostly for VISCOM applications. Since the beginning of 2019, she’s Senior Product Manager at Avery Dennison, responsible for the Automotive, Rail and Macglide self adhesives portfolios. She has actively worked on the commercialisation of the Macglide, an innovative fouling release film for leisure boat applications and precursor of the Aircoat film.
