AQUABIOTECH GROUP

The AquaBioTech Group is an international consulting company strategically located in the centre of the Mediterranean on the island of Malta, although operating globally with clients and projects in over fifty-five countries. The AquaBioTech Group undertakes a variety of aquaculture, fisheries and aquatic environmental projects through its regional offices and selected partners throughout the world.

SEVERINE LARROZE

Aquatic Ecotoxicologist

The Aircoat project is an amazing opportunity to be part of the development of a game changing technology which will help building a sustainable economy.

Severine is an Aquatic Ecotoxicologist at the AquaBioTech Group, where she leads ecotoxicological studies and act as technical manager of EU projects. She is involved in 3 EU funded projects related to biofouling research where she coordinates field tests and design laboratory bio-assays to screen innovative antifouling technologies. Severine completed a M.Phil in Environmental Toxicology at Brunel University, UK. She enjoys snorkelling, baking and walking her dog Kimchi in her free time.

MARINA BELTRI

Marine Consultant

The AIRCOAT project is bringing many bright and diverse minds together and it is very stimulating and exciting to be part of it.

Marina is a Marine Biologist at the AquaBioTech Group, where she is mainly involved in implementing and executing field tests, data sampling and data processing. She is working in 3 EU funded projects and has experience in marine sampling methodologies and advanced experimental design. She graduated in the University of Barcelona and holds a master’s degree in Conservation and Management of Biodiversity from the University of Granada. Marina is committed to the health of our oceans, enjoys SCUBA diving and feels lucky she can do it as part of her job.
