THE 1st SUSTAINABLE SHIPPING TECHNOLOGIES FORUM   26-27 September 2019 The very first “Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum” will take place in Graz, Austria on 26-27 September 2019. The forum provides an overview of the current possibilities and developments in the field of emission-free ocean shipping and wants to point out potentials for future innovations and cooperations. 11 highly innovative international shipping research projects such as HyMethShip and AIRCOAT will be presented and discussed. AIRCOAT will have a special exhibition showcasing the Salvinia plant, and early AIRCOAT prototypes, and will be presented by the project coordinator Johannes Oeffner on Friday 27 September at 9:00 am. The aim of the first Sustainable Shipping Technologies Forum, which will take place in parallel and in close cooperation with the 17th Symposium “The working process of the combustion engine”, is to network the relevant actors for an emission-free future. With their agenda, both events aim to underline the necessity and importance of sustainable solutions in the areas of mobility, transport and energy generation. Excellent networking opportunities with an estimated 300 experts, opinion leaders and political decision-makers from all over the world round off the two-day programme.
